MARLON HILL LAUNCHES SALON TALK VISITS AT CURTREY STUDIOS IN DISTRICT 9

September 28, 2019 —  In recognition of the impact of the small businesses in District 9, Marlon visited popular District 9 beauty salon, Curtrey Studios, to hear directly from salon clients on the challenges and issues in District 9.  Clients raised a number of issues and concerns, including, but not limited to, transportation, housing, incorporation efforts, and programs for seniors during the salon talk.  Owner, Curtis Reynolds, shared information on the successes and challenges in operating his salon for the last seven years in South Miami-Dade County.  Salon patrons completed qualifying petitions for Marlon’s candidacy.
