22 Sep MARLON HILL COMMEMORATES HEALTHY AGING AWARENESS MONTH AT CHURCH OF THE ASCENSION
September 22, 2019 — In commemoration of Healthy Aging Awareness Month, Marlon supported and participated in a health fair at the Church of the Ascension in collaboration with the Affirmative Aging Ministry of the Church. The health fair welcomed a number of local non-profit organizations and affiliates of Miami-Dade County government, including, Miami Dade Community Action & Human Services Department (CAHSD) Elderly and Disability Services Division, Clinica las Mercedes, Chen Medical Center, Alzheimer’s Association, Community Health of South Florida (CHI), Alliance for Aging, Miami-Dade County Elderly Services, Miami-Dade Energy Programs, Wellcare, and the National Coalition for Women with Heart Disease.
Over 100 attendees received helpful information and giveaways on preventative care, County programs, and other elderly services.
