MARLON HILL CELEBRATES ANNUAL TRINIDAD & TOBAGO INDEPENDENCE THANKSGIVING MASS AT CHRIST THE KING CATHOLIC CHURCH

September 15, 2019 — The Twin-Island Nation of Trinidad & Tobago celebrated its 57th anniversary of independence on August 31, 2019. To commemorate this event, the Trinidad & Tobago Community at Christ the King Catholic Church in Perrine hosted its annual Thanksgiving Mass & Healing Service on September 15 and 16, respectively.  Father Matthew D’Hereaux from Trinidad served as  the celebrant. In addition, Kay Pierre, musical director, musician Kevin Millien, musician Curt Millien and lay minister Janet Chinnia also participated in the annual celebration.  Marlon celebrated Mass with his family and Trinidad & Tobago Consul General, Andria Narinesingh. 
 
This event has become a significant religious experience for the Trinidad & Tobago community living in South Florida with over 500 persons including the Caribbean Consular Corps in attendance.
