Welcoming over 200 family members, community and business leaders, attorney Marlon Hill kicked off his 2020 campaign for Miami-Dade County Commissioner in SW Miami-Dade County, District 9 at the South Miami-Dade Cultural Arts Center. Marlon highlighted the need for South Miami-Dade County to be more connected, and not neglected, on key issues of quality of life, public safety, affordable housing, and economic opportunity.
Campaign kickoff opening remarks included:
* Paul Herdsman, Upper Room Assembly Church of God
*Maria Rodriguez, Friend and colleague, The Miami Foundation, Miami Fellows, Class I
*George F. Knox, Esq., mentor
The evening ended with a birthday party celebration.
Elections are slated for August 25, 2020.
